Health and the role of herbs

History of Natural Treatments

The wild nations of the world had different ideas about the philosophy of diseases. They had thought that diseases were the result of anger of evil spirits and demons. Some had thought diseases were due to enchantments.

This plant is easily found in north and west America. Roots are called IP-cacona. It is also grown in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, here it is called Anant Mole. Plant is 3 inches high from the soil.

Second aspect is in herbal treatment is temperament or humour. Temperaments are also four. Dry, Hot, Wet and cold. These four temperaments make six temperaments by a particular coalition.

Gumkino is very useful in Hemorrhoids according to Indigenous physicians.It is also used as out side medicine to put on bleeding wounds. Ayurveda uses it to cure skin diseases.
